The 2008 Women's Retreat was beautiful!
It was a weekend filled with worship, prayer, teaching, connection and fun. There was time alone, time in small groups, and time all together! The perfect blanket of snow that greeted us on Sunday morning was an apt finale to a great weekend.
We were blessed as Jacob Park and the "boy band" (with a couple of our gals) led us in worship throughout the weekend. Saturday we spent extended time in silence and solitude as we meditated on God's Word. Through various teaching sessions we were challenged to be women
of the Word as we follow Christ. There was great care for one another through prayer and sharing throughout the weekend.
As is our custom, we raffled donated gift baskets in order to raise money for Kingdom ventures. This year almost $4000. was raised for mission outreaches. $2500 was designated for orphanages in Jamaica and $1500 was set aside for a local outreach project to bless the women at Hope Gardens. We are utterly grateful to those who donated baskets and those who generously participated.
The 250+ women who made their way to Twin Peaks hopefully found time for rest, for connection, and for opportunities to be touched by God. Thanks to every husband, friend and child who made the retreat possible for an appreciative woman.

The CA Annual Women's Retreat is at a new time! It's at a new place! But it is the same amazing weekend planned for deep experiences of worship, teaching and connection. And of course, there is always FUN written into the schedule. We would like to invite every woman at CA to be a part of this life-impacting weekend. There
is opportunity for personal solitude as well as group prayer and
sharing. The weekend is well worth your decision to be a part of it.
