RECOVERY | FAQ

Isn't Recovery just for people who have problems?

-   Most all of us have had to deal with pain and disapointment in our life and will have to deal with seasons of life when it seems overwhelming. Recovery provides a safe place to process pain and walk with others on a journey to healing. We are wounded through relationships, and healing and restoration also comes through healthy safe relationships. The hardent part is admitting to ourself and others that we really do need help.

Do I have to share or stand up in front of others?

-   Recovery is safe. You will not stand in front of a group, but you may be encouraged to share in a safe small group setting. you only share what you feel safe with in the group, and trust build over time. Confidentiality is a core guideline for Recovery.

What class should I take?

-   There is a description of all the classes on the Recovery website. If after reading these you still have questions, call the revocery office and we will help guide you to the right class. If you are beginning the recovery process one of these two classes are a good place to begin. Coda - helps a person learn to think, feel, and care for themself while breaking away from relationships with others caught in addictive lifestyles. Shame/Grace - brings hope and grace into shame-based identities where dysfunctional family systems were present.

When are the classes?

-   Classes are scheduled on a week night from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The website or current brochure will tell you which night the classes are scheduled.
