Kingdom-building International Outreaches
2007 has already been an exciting year for CA's Kingdom-building efforts as we explored opportunities to serve in places like Mexico, Kenya, The Czech Republic, and The Philippines. We are excited about expanding CA's Going Ministry globally. About four times a year, a team from CA travels to Tijuana, Mexico to serve those in need. We bring toys for the children, clothes and shoes for the needy, food for the hungry, and medicine to the sick. There are opportunities to serve in kid's church, cooking, construction, prayer, and medical teams.
Both Day Trips and full weekend outings are offered. Day trips are great for families with children 8 years old and up. It's a terrific way for families to serve together. Weekends are from Friday evening to Sunday evening, teens 15 years and older can participate with a parent or guardian.

Kenya

In Kenya we serve with Juli McGowan at the Medical Clinic that serves the village of Kipkaren. Our next outreach trip to Kenya will take place in 2009. Stay posted on details to come.
Czech Republic
We support Al and Stacy Anderson in the Czech Republic by sending teams to participate in evangelistic English camps in Ostrova. Young people here have a huge desire to learn English and they would love to be able to practice and learn from native English speakers. 95% of those attending do not know Christ! The goals of the camps are to help teenagers learn English and to share Christ with them and invite them to follow Jesus. Last year two girls at the camp that made a decision to follow Christ.
We partnered with Al and Stacy for a Winter Ski Camp in February 2007. Building relationships through activities opened the door to develop trust and the opportunity to share our faith. The youth are challenged as our CA teams come and openly shared their lives and faith.

The Philippines
The Philippine government estimates that there are over 750,000 families living in "squatter" communities within the Metro-Manila area. This represents as many as 3.7 million people living in the worst imaginable circumstances. CA works with local churches and ministries to assist with construction, medical and evangelistic outreaches.
CA is currently partnering with with Breakthrough Church in Metro Manila, where we sponsor a children's feeding program that reaches out to malnurished children living near a city dump. We are preparing to send a team in June 2008 to continue our partnership with Breakthrough Church.
