It's a "2'fer Summer"
Attention 5th Grade Parents!
We value your child and are anticipating their transition into 6th grade, which we know can be challenging. This summer, our goal is to help make this transition as smooth as possible for your entire family.Kids Church and Power Pack, (CA's Junior High ministry for 6th - 8th grade students) invite you to participate in our new "2'fer" Summer Program!
How does it work?
Traditionally, there comes a day in September when your 5th grader becomes a 6th grader, and the door to Kids Church closes and Power Pack begins. This year, we are giving your child the opportunity to join Power Pack during the summer and begin making that transition. Our hope is that come September, your child will have made Power Pack their new home! Read below for more details.
- For 7 weeks this summer, the entire month of June and July, your child may attend both Kids Church and Power Pack!
- NOTE: Power Pack will not meet July 5th or the month August. During this time, your 5th grader may choose to come to Kids Church or join you in "big" church.
- AUGUST 30/31 is the last weekend 5th graders may attend Kids Church. They will be promoted as 6th graders at that time, which means they will no longer appear on the KC rosters.
- Power Pack resumes on Saturday, September 6th!
- Power Pack meets during the Saturday night service only. Should you attend church on Sunday (after the 2'fer Summer Program ends) your child is welcome to join you in "big" church.
