Serving in the City & the World...

Fusion is committed to joining God's mission in our city and the world around us. We believe that we are designed to make God's great love tangible with our actions and words, first to those around us and also to those around the globe. Our local and global efforts come from the heart and passions of those who call Christian Assembly (CA) home. If you have a heart for a local neighborhood, people group or country, consider praying about how God might want to use you (and others from CA) there.

Young Adult Kingdom Weekend - Urban Plunge:

Every spring, CA’s young adults do kingdom together for a weekend. For the past few years, we’ve headed down to Mexico and served with CA’s partner leaders to distribute food and clothes, teach kids about Jesus, pray for those we meet and more! This spring, 200 young adults are heading into Los Angeles for an Urban Plunge. For more info, visit our web page by clicking here.

The Cafe:

Did you know that all of the proceeds from The Cafe go directly to CA Going efforts. Click here to find out more about The Cafe.

Skid Row Outreach
LA is a city that has thousands of homeless people. It's pretty overwhelming at times; however, just because we can not do everything, does not mean that we have a reason to do nothing.
Please join with other young adults who gather Sunday mornings [8:30-11:00 a.m.] to put their faith into action by distributing food and praying with the homeless of our city.
Contact SkidRowOutreach@caeaglerock.com if you are interested in coming along this weekend.

Kids Hope Mentoring
The statistics for children growing up in Eagle Rock are not good…50% of them will not graduate from high school. Help change that by getting involved with “Kids Hope” and loving our city in a tangible way. We will pair up you up with one “at-risk” child from Eagle Rock Elementary and a prayer partner from CA. You will receive four-hours of training and mentor your child one hour every week at the school, during the school day, at a time that works with your schedule. This is a nine-month commitment (aligned with the school year calendar). For more information email Sarah Dornbos by clicking here. click to watch movie

Life Groups
A number of life groups are serving the local community together—from offering free oil changes to single moms and serving the homeless to joining the mission of local organizations like Door of Hope. For more details, email going@caeaglerock.com or link to our Life Groups page by clicking here. Global Expressions:

Many individuals and families from Christian Assembly are giving their lives to kingdom work in Mexico, Kenya, the Philippines, the Czech Republic and Tanzania. CA regularly hosts weekend trips to Mexico and short-term trips to serve with our teams around the globe. For more details, email going@caeaglerock.com or link to our CA wide Going page below.

CA International Going

Going Offering:

Every month, we take a special offering at all four services to support CA’s local and international leaders and the work they are doing around the world.

A Spirit of Welcome & Openness:

Just as Jesus said, when you welcome the stranger, you welcome him—so we strive to create a culture of welcome at Fusion. This expression is central to every area of the Fusion community, from our life groups and the Cafe to the welcome time in our services.
