Have you and your family ever considered adopting a child?
Do you want a safe place where your questions, doubts and fears about adoption can be addressed?
Building Forever Families, C.A.'s foster/adoption ministry has put together a four part adoption series that will answer some of your questions. Join us this spring on Sundays from 4 - 6 p.m. at 2435 Colorado Blvd, Room 20.
Each session will provide answers that will help you become a more equipped parent who understands their child's unique needs. Together we will learn, share and pray as you are better able to meet the challenges and joys of parenting an adopted child.
One of our own C.A. adoptive mothers, Michelle Harwell, MFTI, will present information and answer questions concerning the care of children joining the family through adoption. Participants will explore topics including attachment, grief and loss, becoming a multiracial family, and talking to their child about adoption. They will also have the opportunity to hear from other adoptive families who will share their personal adoption stories.
Whether your adoption journey is just starting or nearing completion this series will supply you with the resources and information that will help you now and into the future.
