The CA Summer Celebration is a wonderful opportunity for all of us - young and old, families and singles - to come together under the BIG tent as one big CA family! Following our regular weekend services (except Fusion), we'll meet at Brookside Park, eat together, play together, and have loads of fun!
The Summer Celebration Picnic provides a time to connect, to get re-acquainted with old friends, and to make new ones.
As promised, following are more details on how you can help make this the best celebration ever:
* A really good HOMEmade dessert that does NOT require refrigeration, is already sliced or cut, on a disposable plate.
* Your own DRINKS (including water) or you can purchase them at the Cafe.
* Sunscreen, blanket, chairs, family and a friend.
* Plan to attend your usual church service: Saturday @ 6PM; Sunday 9AM & 11:15AM. Please note that there will be NO FUSION SERVICE Sunday evening, and NO CAFE.
* Come to Brookside Park at 1:00pm and drop off your really good, HOMEmade dessert at the BIG tent (You can't miss it).
* Choose your picnic spot and settle in.
* Line up for grilled chicken, beans & rice, tortillas, chips & salsa.
* All the bouncers open at 1pm for children and adults too!
* Volleyball and softball pickup games all afternoon.
* Information and First Aid are under the BIG tent.
As always, we cannot make this happen without your help. We need volunteers to help with various activities, so please take a moment to stop by the connection center and sign up!
